Nigerian man caught with 11.85 grams of cocaine in Thailand

A 30-year-old Nigerian man has been arrested on Saturday morning, August 5, after he was found in possession of 11.85 grams of cocaine
in Patong, Phuket, Thailand.

Officers arrested the Nigerian national identified as Chidi Thedus Matthew on Soi Nanai Street 9 at 00:30am, according to a police report.
He was taken to Patong Police Station and charged with possession of Category 2 drug with intent to sell. In making the arrest officers also seized a mobile phone and a Honda City ZX from the suspect.

Following the arrest of three suspects in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State on Tuesday, who were found with two fresh human hearts, the police have said they are searching for more suspects who have possibly specialised in harvesting human body parts for rituals in the state. The arrested suspects – Nurudeen Adeniyi (34), Tunde Banjo (29), Temitope Alaba (20), and Tobi Olukoya (20), who are now in the custody of the Department of Criminal Investigation, Abeokuta, said they were simply contracted to supply the hearts.
