The Lagos State Prisons Command has graduated 29 inmates under its “ONESIMUS Project” designed to teach them life skills preparatory to their release and eventual re-integration into the society.

The “ONESIMUS Project” is under the Kirikiri Medium Prisons, Lagos, which held its joint 7th Graduation and 8th Matriculation Ceremony yesterday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the programme has the Covenant University and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria as collaborators.

23 Sep 2016 Tragedy struck at the Ogoja Market, LASU-Igando Road, Lagos State, after operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad shot dead an undergraduate of a polytechnic in Edo State, Eldanojie Joseph. The 20-year-old business administration student was said to be on a visit to his cousin, Friday Ojah, who lived on Alape Street, Iba Ojo, when he was hit by a stray bullet. It was learnt that the operatives were chasing a suspected Internet fraudster, identified as Badoo, who had parked his car and fled upon sighting the officers. The operatives were said to have started shooting sporadically. The Esan, Edo State indigene, who had reportedly gone out to buy a canned drink with his cousin, was hit by a stray bullet. A runs girl, identified as Sandra Mpofu, got the shock of her entire life recently when a rich man she followed to a hotel for s*x and to collect money, turned into a baboon during the 'action'. The lady, a Zimbabwean, bolted out of thee hotel room without her clothes. According to B-Metro, the incident which reads like the ending of a Hollywood movie horror flick reportedly happened on 19 August at a hotel in Bulawayo area.
